We have been hearing about Snapdragon-based Windows 10 PC for quite some time andright on que, here comes the first group of such devices. Revealed to the world for the first time at Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit earlier today, this is the brand-new ASUS NovaGo .
Claimed to be the first Gigabit LTE-capable laptop, the NovaGo is powered by Snapdragon 835 which is being used in many flagship smartphones at the moment. Featuring a sleek 14.9mm thin physique, the 1.39kg laptop can be obtained with up to 8GB RAM, and 256GB UFS2.0-based storage.
Built with a 13.3-inch full HD touch display that has 100% sRGB color gamut, NovaGo can be used together with ASUS Pen which offers 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity. ASUS claimed that the laptop has a battery life of up to 22 hours as well as Modern Standby (the hybrid standby feature of Windows 10) duration of more than 30 days.
The ASUS NovaGo will apparently carries a price tag of USD 599 (about RM 2,436) for the 64GB model while the variant with 8GB RAM/256GB storage will costs USD 799 (about RM 3,250). No release date was officially announced by ASUS but early information suggests that the NovaGo will only heading to consumers in 2018.
